Eligibility Criteria
The following are the main eligibility criteria for Canadian Citizenship:
- Be a permanent resident
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Income tax filing(if necessary)
- Pass a Canadian citizenship test (For between 18-54 ages)
- Prove your language proficiency in English or French (For between 18-54 ages)
- You must meet Canada’s physical presence requirements, which is three years in the past five years before applying.
